What is DEIW?
DEIW was initially established as DEI by three graduate students of color who were tired of the EEMB department's inadequacy in addressing issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Wellness was added later as an ancillary fourth objective to ensure that efforts to promote general graduate student wellness would be truly intersectional. We welcome all affiliates of EEMB to join us in furthering our goals—grad and non-grad alike! Contact us for information on meetings and how to get involved.
